First, let me start (before getting to the card) that it was a little hard getting motivated. We've had some rough news that Eddy's father MAY have lung cancer. With that thought in the back of my mind, I kept putting my work aside and then picking it back up again when I felt like I could. Any good vibes, prayers, happy thoughts, or whatever you subscribe to would be much appreciated. His dad is a good man and never smoked.
*heavy sigh* Now the card.
I really wanted to use some of the paint that I received during the Ranger class taught by Claudine Hellmuth at CHA. Wasn't sure what I'd do with it, but I wanted to try something...anything. I've also been wanting to use some of the paint dabbers from Ranger (also acrylic paint). There's a lot going on with this card!! Techniques galore! My fave.

and a close up of the sentiment (which is stamped with acrylic paint then covered with Distress Rock Candy Stickles):

It IS raining here now in so-called Sunny California and with the news of yesterday it seems fitting. But I'm hoping that we will also find ourselves dancing in the rain, too, and not just waiting for the storm to pass.
Thank you for stopping by & taking a look!

It's beautiful!! I know nothing of these products you speak of, Obi Wan!!
I'm proud of your strength and I am praying for you and Eddy's family. His reaction tells me what a wonderful, close family it must be, which warms my heart.
If you need anything, please tell me.

What a cool card! I don't know any of these techniques either! You rock!
I'm so sorry to hear about Eddy's dad. I will keep him, you, and Eddy's family in my prayers! Hugs!
Sending good health vibes out to Eddy's father, and peaceful wishes to you and Eddy. Your card is cool - I am so afraid (don't know why!!?!) to try 'techniques' and usually shy away... I really should get out of my (comfy) little box.
I'm still waiting for my video! Isn't it hard to make crafty wonderfulness with mitten hands?!?

Sorry to hear about Eddy's dad. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Lovely! I have a large cache of the products you used, still in their original packaging. When someone invents the 30-hour day, I may open them and USE them. :-)
