Cardstock Christmas - JB18

I AM SOOOO LATE FOR THIS JINGLE BELLES CHALLENGE!!! :(

My deepest apologies to Guest Star Jess Moyer who deserved to have me post on time. She had a great idea, but this week has been a bit of a challenge of its own for me. Please visit her blog, Basic Jess, and show her some love. She is super creative!

So this week Jess' challenge for us? No designer paper !! Ooookay. I love designer paper and I can't use it?! You evil woman. But even though I am late, I accepted the challenge and here's what I came up with:

Now, I *DID* use a teeny bit of Baker's Twine, an itty-bitty bit of glitter, and three puny pearls. ;) BUT, the important part? NO DESIGNER PAPER!!! YIPPEE!!!

So, I gotta get this linked up in the comments since I'm a slacker, but I hope y'all like it too.

I'm off to Vegas for 3 days tomorrow VERY early in the morning. I'm doing the Susan Komen Race for the Cure. I raised a little bit of money (thanks to my beautiful friends and family) and I am one of the Top 100 FundRacers!! Super Excited. I get a nifty sash & everything. :) I'll take pics.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend & a Happy Mother's day to all you moms. I'm a fur-mom. My kitties loooove me. ;)

{Supplies:
Paper: Cardstock (Stampin' Up), Core Impressions Jenni Bowlin Collection (Core'dinations)
Die-Cutting/Embossing: Rolled flower, Faux crochet border Die-Namics (My Favorite Things)
Accessories: Baker's Twine, Maraschino (The Twinery), Glitter - Dazzling Diamonds, Pearls (Stampin' Up), Paper Crimper (Fiskars), Corner Chomper (We-R-Memory Keepers), Stickers (Girls' Paperie), Glossy Accents (Ranger)}

All my best,

Have a great time in Vegas, Lisa. So very proud of you.

Your card is gorgeous. I love DP as much as the next girl but I think that sometimes it steals the show a bit. This is a classic example of great design and a few choice embellishments taking center stage.

Great job!
